11–Transferring songs to and from a computer

You can transfer audio les from a computer by USB, and play

them back for practice, to learn new parts and to overdub.

Moreover, this unit can play back MP3 (32–320 kbps, 44.1 kHz)

and WAV (44.1 kHz, 16/24-bit) audio le formats.

NOTE

Instead of using USB to connect this unit and a computer, you

can also conduct the same operations by removing the SD

card from this unit and connecting it directly to a computer

that has a built-in SD card slot or by using a card reader.

Preparing audio files on a computer

Use the abilities of your computer OS or a software

application to copy music les from a CD or other source to

your computer.

When copying les to your computer, choose le types that

this unit can handle (the MP3 and WAV les types listed

above).

Copying audio files from a computer

1. Connect the unit to the computer. (See “Connecting

with a computer” on page 46.)

2. Click the LR-10 drive that appears on the computer to

open it, revealing UTILITY and MUSIC folders.

3. Drag-and-drop the desired audio files from the

computer to the MUSIC folder to copy those files to the

SD card.
